When András Laube founded Leipzig Suites in 2014, he had a clear vision: to create serviced apartments in Leipzig that feel like home — not like an anonymous hotel room. As an artist and interior designer, he designed every detail himself: from the choice of materials to color concepts and the original artworks in the apartments.
His biggest project to date: Gerichtsweg 12. A GDR prefabricated building that many had written off. Laube saw the potential. Warm materials, thoughtful lighting concepts and his own paintings transformed the functional concrete into design apartments with character. The building's history was not hidden but retold — as a connection between Leipzig's past and present.
With 77 apartments in five categories, Leipzig Suites today offers one of the largest serviced apartment portfolios in the city — for business travelers, families and everyone who wants to experience Leipzig for more than just one night.
